Adjustable Retinoscopy Rack Set Inspection 1
Positive And Negative Relative Accommodation Inspection
Operation Steps:
(1) Correct the far ametropia of both eyes completely, and adjust the pupil distance on the rack set.
(2) Turn on the light, let the subject hold the near vision card and place it at 40cm, and let his eyes focus on the upper line of the near vision card with the best near vision.
(3) The examiner holds the positive rack set and gradually increases the positive spherical lens until the initial point of continuous blur of the visual target reported by the tested eye, that is, the visual target can be read out, but the first value is different from the clarity at the beginning. The added positive spherical lens luminosity is the negative relative accommodation (NRA) of the tested eye.
(4) Replace the negative rack set. Let the examinee hold the near vision card and place it at 40cm, and let his eyes focus on the upper line of charts with the best near vision.
(5) Gradually increase the negative spherical lens until the visual charts reported by the tested eye is continuously blurred, and the added negative spherical lens luminosity is the positive relative accommodation (PRA) of the tested eye.
