Donna Fishman Named Director At Prevent Blindness
The National Center for Children’s Vision and Eye Health at Prevent Blindness (NCCVEH) has named Donna Fishman, MPH, as of the Director of the National Center for Children’s Vision and Eye Health (NCCVEH). In her new role, she will provide technical assistance to federal and state agencies, as well as national organizations, on system reform strategies that involve children’s vision and eye health; participate on national task forces to provide a cross-system voice for vision in policy discussions; and facilitate collaboration and consensus between children’s vision and eye health organizations and other child-serving systems and organizations. She is taking over the role from Kira Baldonado, who has taken on the role of vice president of public health and policy at Prevent Blindness.
