Avoid high temperature, humidity, and direct sunlight, and install, transport, and store in a dust-free environment.
Cover the equipment with a dust cover to protect its components when not in use.
For elderly patients with relatively loose eyelids and eyelid edema covering the cornea, cotton swabs or thumb and index fingers can be used to gently pinch the upper eyelid and pull it upwards to expose the cornea. Aiming at the light spot can measure intraocular pressure.
