Visual Rehabilitation Training Of Binocular Convergence Function By Lifebuoy Card
The lifebuoy card is mainly used for convergence training. Patients need to focus their eyes at a certain distance in front of the training card at the same time to see the fusion image of red and green circles to form a single circle. The words in the card still have to be removed. After melting the image, you will see the concave and convex of the words, forming a three-dimensional feeling. With the increase of the distance between circles, the higher the degree of convergence required and the greater the difficulty of training. The initial stage of training may require a pen or small stick, but the patient should be able to assemble independently without using these small tools as soon as possible. At the beginning of training, use white paper to cover the top three lines of visual markers, leaving only the bottom visual markers for training.
Method:
① Place the lifebuoy card 40cm in front of your eyes, pay attention to the bottom line of sight mark with both eyes, fuse within 5 seconds and keep the fusion for 10 seconds.
② Look down at the sight mark in turn to fuse each line, and maintain a single clear image for 10 seconds.
③ Training tips: suggest that the patient feels he is looking at a close object and try his best to "eye to eye". Keep the stick steady and slightly adjust the training position to get a clear fusion ring.
