Visual Rehabilitation Training Of Binocular Convergence Function By Push Close Method
The abnormal convergence and divergence function of non dominant strabismus is mainly caused by the abnormal convergence and divergence function of both eyes, so the method of visual rehabilitation training is mainly aimed at the rehabilitation of the convergence and divergence function of both eyes.
Push Close Method
The push close method uses a single row of visual chart to form diplopia on the temporal side of the macula of the retina of both eyes in the process of moving closer, so as to stimulate the convergence of both eyes.
Method:
Attach 0.6 ~ 0.8 single row visual chart to one end of the tongue depressor. The patient wears appropriate far glasses and holds the tongue depressor. The target slowly moves closer to both eyes along the horizontal height of the eye and the sagittal midline. When the visual target has a double image, ask the patient to try to avoid double vision until it cannot be overcome. It is one time. One group was moved 30 times, and 2 ~ 3 groups were done every day.
Indications: Convergence insufficiency, false convergence insufficiency, etc.
