For patients with high ametropia, we should pay attention to the influence of the distance from the lens of the trial frame to the eye on the actual luminosity of the lens. For myopia, the greater the distance from the lens to the eye, the smaller the actual luminosity; For hyperopia lenses, the greater the distance from the lens to the eye, the greater the actual luminosity. And the greater the ametropia, the more obvious the influence of the distance from the lens to the eye.

This requires us to pay attention during optometry:

1) Adjust lens to eye distance until appropriate before optometry;

2) After optometry on the comprehensive optometer, be sure to wear the trial frame for actual adjustment;

3) According to the customer's facial characteristics, especially the height of the bridge of the nose, give the suggestions to customer on selecting the spectacle frames.
