Some scholars believe that poor maintenance of accommodation is another form of accommodation insufficiency, and poor maintenance of accommodation is the early manifestation of accommodation insufficiency. Poor Maintenance Of Accommodation

It is also called fatigue of accommodation. Patients can't use accommodation force for a long time and are prone to fatigue. When measuring the relevant accommodation function, the initial measurement may be normal.

Symptom

Close reading is normal in the initial stage, and after a period of time, the visual acuity decreases and the near vision is blurred.

Examination Of Visual Function

The amplitude of accommodation, positive and negative relative accommodation, accommodation reaction and accommodation facility are normal. Check again after close reading or working for 15 minutes. The amplitude of accommodation and accommodation facility are decreased , PRA is lower than the normal value, and the accommodationlag is obvious.
