Three Level Visual Function Check With The Camera 2
Binocular fusion function examination
The binocular fusion function of the synoptophore is mainly to understand the range of the examined motion
fusion image. Before the examination, it is necessary to fully communicate with the examinee about the
precautions during the examination, and ask the examinee to recognize the characteristics of the left and right
fusion pictures.
1) On the basis of subjective oblique angle of view, put in pairs of fusion pictures respectively. Such as the fusion
picture of two cats.
2) Ask the subject about the image of the cat. Usually, the subject will see a complete cat fused together on the
basis of simultaneous vision.
3) Adjust the horizontal scale knob in the middle, and lock the lens barrel arm, so that the lens barrel and the
horizontal scale knob have a linkage effect. Rotate the knob to make the lens barrel do the same amount of
spreading and assembling movement. First check the spread (ABD) fusion range, and then check the add fusion
range. Rotate the knob until the subject reports that the two fused pictures no longer coincide or only one picture
can be seen, and record the horizontal scale when the two pictures are separated and no longer coincide, that is,
the maximum of their dispersion and collection, that is, the fusion range. Normal motion fusion image range: 4 °~
6 ° spread and 25 °~ 30 ° set. During recording, the spread is a negative sign and the set is a positive sign. For
example, fusion range: -6 °~ +28 °.
