Visual Rehabilitation Training Guide 1
Visual rehabilitation training guidance refers to a series of planned and orderly training to match the visual skills and visual needs of patients, so as to achieve the purpose of effective, comfortable and lasting eye use.
Introduction To Binocular Vision Training Equipment
At present, there are quite a lot of instruments used for non binocular abnormal vision training at home and abroad, especially in North America. Although these manufacturers provide training methods and steps when patients buy instruments, how to select appropriate instruments for patients and how to determine the best training method is a common problem.
Generally, binocular vision rehabilitation training equipment is divided into two categories: instrument training and free space training. Due to the limitation of instruments, it is difficult to see the trained person's eyes, so sometimes this kind of training is unnatural. A typical example is solid mirror training. Free space training equipment makes the trainees in an environment more similar to natural vision. It is generally believed that the more similar the training environment is to the real visual environment, the better the training effect.
Binocular stereoscopic picture
Binocular split vision stereoscopic pictures mainly include red green stereoscopic pictures and polarized stereoscopic pictures. Through binocular split vision stereoscopic pictures, one part of the picture is seen by the right eye and the other part is seen by the left eye. Binocular stereoscopic pictures can also train patients with mild to moderate inhibition, jump and smooth convergence and dispersion at the same time. Moreover, this kind of equipment is similar to the natural visual environment. It can observe the trained person's eyes and some training experience during training. For children, it is easy to lose interest in using such equipment, and they need to keep using different visual aids to keep their interest. The price of polarized stereoscopic pictures is also relatively high, and when the trainee tilts his head, he can see the images of both eyes with one eye, so that patients with inhibition can also see the images of both eyes. Although the price of red and green stereoscopic pictures is not high, the use of red and green filters, especially the red filter is darker than the polarizer, is easy to promote the generation of suppression.
Optical lens
The optical lens for binocular abnormal vision rehabilitation training includes spherical lens and prism (as shown in figures 1 and 2). The use of spherical lens can change the needs of adjustment and convergence and dispersion, while prism can change the direction of light. Usually, spherical lens and prism combined with binocular split stereoscopic pictures are used for patients with cryptotropia, and visual rehabilitation training of disinhibition and fusion image convergence and dispersion and adjustment can also be used. The use of spherical lenses for visual rehabilitation training of adjustment function is very effective. The use of these optical lenses can also make it easy for trainers to increase or reduce the difficulty of adjustment and binocular visual rehabilitation training.
